Welcome to 1DayHomeInspection. By accessing or using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully as they govern your use of our website, services, and any interactions with us.

  1. Scope of Services
    1DayHomeInspection provides professional home inspection services for residential properties in the state of California. Our inspection services include but are not limited to evaluations of the structural, electrical, plumbing, roofing, HVAC, insulation, and general condition of the property. Our services are performed by licensed and certified home inspectors who follow industry standards and provide thorough, accurate reports.

While we make every effort to assess all visible and accessible areas of the property, our inspections do not include invasive testing or the evaluation of items that are not visible or accessible at the time of the inspection. Additionally, our inspections do not cover the cost of repairs, potential environmental hazards, or issues discovered after the inspection.

  1. Appointment and Payment Terms
    To schedule an inspection, clients must contact us by phone or email. We will provide a confirmation once an appointment is booked. Payment for the inspection is due in full upon completion of the inspection or before the delivery of the inspection report. Payment can be made via credit/debit card, cash, or other agreed-upon methods.

All fees are clearly stated before the service is provided. In case of a dispute over payment or services rendered, clients agree to resolve the issue in good faith and may contact our support team for assistance.

  1. Cancellations, Rescheduling, and Refunds
    If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, we request that you provide at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a cancellation fee. If you fail to show up for your scheduled inspection or fail to provide proper access to the property, you will be charged a no-show fee.

In the event of a rescheduled or cancelled inspection, we will work with you to find an alternative appointment time that fits your schedule. Full refunds are provided only if the inspection is cancelled by us. If a cancellation or refund request is made by the client after the inspection has been completed, we reserve the right to review the request and issue refunds on a case-by-case basis.

  1. Limitations of Liability
    While we aim to provide accurate and thorough inspections, there are inherent limitations to any home inspection. Our liability is limited to the cost of the inspection itself. We are not responsible for any damages or repairs that may arise after the inspection or for any issues that were not identified during the inspection due to their location, condition, or accessibility.

We do not guarantee that any issues that were not apparent at the time of the inspection will be identified. Additionally, we are not responsible for any errors, omissions, or misinterpretations in the report. Clients acknowledge that our inspection is a snapshot of the property’s condition at the time of the inspection and should not be used as the sole basis for any legal, financial, or personal decisions regarding the property.

  1. Use of Inspection Reports
    The inspection report provided by 1DayHomeInspection is intended solely for the personal use of the client. The report cannot be shared, distributed, or relied upon by any third party without prior written consent from 1DayHomeInspection. Clients are encouraged to use the report to make informed decisions about the property and may share it with legal or financial professionals for guidance.

Clients may not use the inspection report as the basis for any claims or legal actions against 1DayHomeInspection without prior consent. Reports are available in digital and physical formats and must be kept confidential.

  1. Privacy and Confidentiality
    At 1DayHomeInspection, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. We collect personal information, including your name, contact information, and payment details, solely for the purpose of providing services, processing payments, and maintaining communication about your inspection. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.

We may share your personal information with trusted service providers who assist with administrative functions or legal compliance. However, we ensure that any third parties have access to your information only as necessary to perform their duties and have agreed to safeguard your data.

  1. Amendments to Terms and Conditions
    1DayHomeInspection reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website or other communication methods, and clients are encouraged to review this page periodically. By continuing to use our services after changes to the Terms, you agree to the updated terms.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply. We may also suspend or terminate services at our discretion if these Terms are violated.

  1. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
    These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the state of California. Any disputes arising out of or related to the use of our services will be handled in accordance with California law, and any legal actions will be brought exclusively in the courts of Los Angeles, California.

In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to seek resolution through good faith negotiations. If those negotiations are unsuccessful, mediation or arbitration may be pursued before resorting to litigation.
